According to fashion consultant Soraya Dayani, autumn is the perfect season to invest in classic pieces.
For many years, my go-to look for the fall season has been a printed dress, a statement coat and a boot with a block heel. My inspiration stems from my love of the 70s, luxurious knits, and designers who have stayed true to their vision for decades. Sometimes, it's just about reimagining your styling or investing in one new piece that revitalizes what you already own and love.
Here are my selects and styling tips
Look 1
DRESS: Pearl Lowe - No matter the trends, Pearl Lowe never follows them, and that’s why I adore her! TRENCH: Maison Mayle - Another female designer who has stayed true to her creative vision. BOOTS: NO.6 -Stepping into the store is like entering Aladdin’s cave; you never want to leave! CLUTCH: Romi Loch Davis - This pistachio shade works well with autumnal tones.

The Boot
Tucked in tailored pants, semi-hidden under long skirts, or worn with floaty dresses, the knee-high boot adds that touch of 70s and 80s nonchalance glamour that never gets old. Once pulled on, it becomes your ultimate confidence booster.
The Trench
The classic that always works!
Fall Prints and Patterns
I studied print and textile design at university, so I’ve always been drawn to prints. I just ADORE them.
The Clutch
Some carry it under the arm, and others like to carry it like a newspaper.
Look 2
COAT: Paul Smith - the quintessential luxury lifestyle designer, remains as relevant today as he was in the 1970s. SKIRT: Joseph - the epitome of 90s cool. TURTLENECK: Majestic Filatures - a recent discovery. LOAFER: Nomasei - female-founded comfortable fashion-forward shoes.
The Midi Skirt
A great alternative to trousers.
The Turtleneck
Pairs well with a full midi skirt and boots. I also love a thinner weave worn layered under a button up shirt or a deep V-neck sweater.
The Loafer
I love how the loafer has become the sneaker for 2024!
Long may it continue!
The Belted Coat
A statement coat is the fall essential.
The Tote Bag
The less hardware and logos the more timeless it becomes.
