FOOD:
I absolutely love eating out and am really lucky to get asked to lots of brand events which means trying great food. My fav for breakfast is Milk Beach in Soho, an Australian dining experience which has the best sweet potato and zucchini fritters, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and dill yogurt. For dinner, I am a sucker for a restaurant called Casa do Frango, near London Bridge, who do the best Portuguese tapas and I can always finish with my fav dessert... a Pasteis de Nata!
If I am working from the office I often pop to Borough Market for lunch. I love street food and Indian is my fav, so a veggie thali with all the trimmings is my go too as a treat if I have forgotten my sandwiches. If Indian is not your thing you can find street food from all around the world.
Tracey exudes style in her Arket jacket, Seasalt striped top, Kin by John Lewis trousers, and white bag from Arket. Her loafers from Cos and La Redoute scarf complete the look.
SHOP:
For clothing- I work in fashion so shopping is like a busman's holiday for me. At the weekend I tend to wear dog-walking clothes and stay out of the shops, but if I do want a little retail therapy I tend to shop online. I am obsessed with curated second-hand edits and love looking at what Retold Vintage and The Curatory have to offer! Both brands are owned by ex-fashion buyers who have moved into the second-hand market and they both have a great eye!
I love a good rummage around a charity shop and tend to escape London at the weekends and often head for the Kent coast, Deal, Rye and Hastings are all worth a visit. I love mid-century modern furniture so often end up at Ode Interiors, in Hastings, which has the best selection of Mid-Century pieces.
PLACES:
I love walking from London Bridge up through the city at the weekend because it is always so deserted. I then hang a right over through Spitalfields to Brick Lane which has a thriving market of second-hand clothes, food and local art. Then I walk further up to Columbia Road Flower Market to buy some lovely cheap plants for my garden.
CULTURE:
I have just seen Sylvia, the musical at The Old Vic. It is about the Pankhurst family, starring Beverly Knight as Emmaline and Sharon Rose as Sylvia, the lesser-known Pankhurst sister. It is sort of Hip Hop meets Soul during the Suffragette movement. A must-see!
